First Breath of... Freedom!?

Here it is! The so-called Freedom as probably most of us would call it.

The last university work for our upcoming Degree Show is submitted. All the social networks are screaming the happiness and freedom. I should be doing the same, I guess. If I could afford. As someone said ages ago – time is money, and, therefore, having finally graduated from University (University of Central Lancashire in literally the middle of nowhere – Preston) and having been kicked out of my part – time job as an art shop sales assistant (as I am not a student anymore) I have to move on.

So, having finished everything possible here in Preston I am about to stuff my few belongings and get going to London in a few hours.

I wish I could tell you that in these three years I have become a completely new smart and clever person or that I have discovered my secret artistic skills and talents I never thought of having before. None of these.
I am still unsure where I will end up the next week or, needless to say, the next month, but I believe that if we carry on doing what we believe in, we will get there sooner or later. Or until someone comes and says: ‘stop dreaming, child’.

That’s why I decided to start a new blog – not the one full of my drawings (as I might not have so much time to scan them now, not to mention that I will have to find a scanner somewhere) but the one to share my ups and downs of a young artist on the way to getting there – not only as an artist but as a grown up on the whole, I guess. So, I am kind of having this blog as a little excuse – to keep me going and let’s see how it all works out! So now, once I told you about it – there is no way back really!

Welcome to 'TΔngled In TriΔngles'

Hi!

Welcome to 'Tangled In Triangles'! You might ask - why one more new blog? As the University stage of my life is complete (but about all this a bit later) I decided to start a new blog – not the one full of drawings but the one to share my ups and downs of a young artist on the way to getting there – not only as an artist but as a grown up on the whole, I guess.

So, I am kind of having this blog as a little excuse – to keep me going through all the Ups & Downs and let’s see how it all works out! So now, once I told you about it – there is no way back, really!

So, this is me:

Name: Gabrielė Ganžaitė
Date of Birth: 19th of December, 1990
Nationality: Lithuanian
Location: London
Social status: A fresh and broke BA Honours in Fine Art (University of Central Lancashire) graduate
I dream: to make it as an Artist - one way or another.

And this is my TΔngled In TriΔngles blog idea:

TΔngled In TriΔngles
is going to be my own version of a Young Artist's Guide to Survival.
It will be a Documentation of the Social Experiment called Life where the main Character is me - a fresh and broke Fine Art graduate - trying to make it as an artist.
From the scratch.
